Polypropylene. Its soft, holds up well without fading and also stain-resistant and wears well. Polypropylene carpets are very economical and you can easily remove spillages and stains. On tough stains you can even use bleach.
Loop pile carpet with tighter loops are longer lasting, particularly in high traffic areas. Loop pile carpets are made from nylon and can also be a wool and nylon mix.
Twist pile carpet give that look of luxury but could suffer in high traffic areas. That said, the higher the twist count the better the performance of the carpet.
To maintain your office carpet you need to vacuum it often. Also mop up that spilt coffee right away. Don’t let stains remain for long periods, these will be difficult to remove.
When you choose an office carpet you may be tempted to pick a light colour. Choose darker colours. They will always look good and the most difficult stains that cannot be removed with cleaning won’t be noticeable.
