Questions Asked

You don’t need underlay for carpet tiles. Carpet tiles normally have a backing bonded to the tile so there is no need for a separate underlay, this saves you money. You do need to make sure that your floor is level and sound though.

You should be looking for a solid, smooth floor for the installation of carpet tiles. If its not, you should screed your floor. If the floor is uneven, this could affect the structural integrity of the floor later on.

We can also first apply a cement screed to your floor, solving this problem.

Spots can be thoroughly rinsed with clean water once a cleaning product has been used. Be sure to get spots as dry as possible after cleaning. Some tiles will allow for cleaning in the sink, a hair dryer can be used to dry any damp areas.
